Jennifer Love Hewitt uglies it up for a guest spot on Law & Order: SVU

The only conclusion that I can draw is that the Law & Order: SVU casting director is a crackhead. That is literally the only explanation for the line of crazy, horrible casting decisions that Law & Order: SVU has faced in the past few years, notably last year, when Sharon Stone almost single-handedly destroyed my beloved series. I hated her character so much, I longed for Christine Lahti’s drunken paleo-feminist ADA to show up again. And Lahti sucked too! Ugh. Anyway, Jennifer Love Hewitt got a job! She’s going to guest star on SVU on one of their first episodes of the new season. I guess she’s playing a rape victim?

Jennifer Love Hewitt is best known for her girl next door looks. But she made a startlingly transformation as she appeared battered and bruised to play a woman who has suffered a terrifying rape attack.

With her face scrubbed clean of make-up, clothes ripped and distressed, the only embellishment was the fake blood she had been daubed with.

The 31-year-old Ghost Whisperer actress is appearing as a guest star on show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. And in between takes she was seen relaxing with the show’s star, actress Mariska Hargitay , 46, who plays Detective Olivia Benson.

Love Hewitt is playing a woman named Vicki who has been raped multiple times and is afraid to leave her house.

The show’s executive producer Neal Baer said, ‘One of the reasons we wanted to do this episode is because it addresses Mariska Hargitay’s passion for rape kits, which helps gather evidence to convict the rapists.’

Hargitay co-founded the Joyful Heart Foundation, a charity that supports women and children who are victims of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.

I mean, I love Det. Benson and everything, but do we really have to describe it as a “passion” for rape kits? Aren’t rape kits just sort of a necessity and something you should do in a horrible situation? That’s like saying someone has a “passion” for enemas.

I also find this somewhat funny because Jennifer Love has been hustling ever since The Ghost Whisperer got cancelled. She’s been everywhere the past few months, setting up paparazzi “candids” and giving interview after interview about how confident she is, etc. All for the hustle. And this is what all that hustling gets? A guest shot on SVU? Oh, J. Love.

“To Audrey Hepburn, A Twee Woman Who Couldn’t Act Worth A Spotted Dick!”

Shots fired! Dip your face in Crisco, pull your hair back, slip on your scrappin’ rings and choose a side, because there’s a new feud going down! Although, this might be the shortest feud ever since the other one really isn’t around to defend herself due to the little fact that she’s DEAD!

Emma Thompson received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday and so she gave an interview to the Hollywood Reporter (via Daily Mail) about her career and future projects, etc… They eventually got around to talking about the My Fair Lady remake that Emma is currently writing. Emma said that she isn’t a fan of the original movie and then she slowly pulled a shank out of her mouth and stabbed it into Audrey Hepburn’s coffin.

The star of such masterpieces as Nanny McPhee Returns put up her dukes when she said that Audrey couldn’t act or sing (FYI: Audrey recorded all the songs for My Fair Lady, but the producers dubbed her ass with Marni Nixon’s voice behind her back), “I’m not hugely fond of the film. I find Audrey Hepburn fantastically twee.” When the Hollywood Reporter asked Emma what the fuck “twee” means, she explained, “Twee is whimsy without wit. It is mimsy-mumsy sweetness without any kind of bite. And that’s not for me. She can’t sing and she can’t really act, I’m afraid. I’m sure she was a delightful woman – and perhaps if I had known her I would have enjoyed her acting more, but I don’t and I didn’t, so that’s all there is to it really.”

Emma pretty much repeated her thoughts on the My Fair Lady movie and Audrey Hepburn to Daily Variety, “I find it chocolate-boxy, clunky and deeply theatrical. I don’t think that it’s a film. It’s the theater piece put onto film. It was Cecil Beaton’s designs and Rex Harrison that gave it its extraordinary quality. I don’t do Audrey Hepburn. I think that she’s a guy thing. I’m sure she was this charming lady, but I didn’t think she was a very good actress. It’s high time that the extraordinary role of Eliza was reinterpreted because it’s a very fantastic part for a woman.”

To Emma, Pygmalion, the play that My Fair Lady is based on, is truer to the character of Eliza Doolittle. Emma thinks that the musical made light of Eliza’s father selling her ass to the highest bidder, “It’s a very terrible thing he does, selling his daughter into sexual slavery for a fiver. I suppose my cheekiness is in saying: ‘This is a very serious story about the usage of women at a particular time in our history. And it’s still going on today’. Yes, OK, it’s a wonderful musical, but let’s also look at what it’s really saying about the world. Fans of the original won’t want another one to be made – and honestly, one has to just cope with that. The original is incredibly long. The audience can expect less songs.”

Emma hopes Carey Mulligan will take the part of Eliza Doolittle in her version.

HA! This is totally going to give Jennifer Love Hewitt a reason to get into Holly Golightly drag again so she can slappity slap slap Emma in the face for this. Only JLove can fuck with Audrey.

Oh, Emma’s just having an opinion! Personally, I can’t really say a bad thing about Audrey even if I tried and that’s saying a lot. Audrey was purdier than a million Zac Efrons twirling in a field of daisies made of pink rhinestones, and her swan walk down a flight of stairs in Funny Face is what dreams are made of, so I’ll just leave it at that. I only wish that Rex Harrison was around today, because you know that grouchy bag of cuntness would have some shit to say about this!

Here’s some pictures of Emma celebrating her new star with Hugh Laurie and her Nanny McPhee co-stars (the pig and Maggie Gyllenhaal [too easy]).

This is the second time in as many days that I’ve had Jennifer Love Hewitt on the site, that must be unprecedented, but I couldn’t resist because she’s been looking so good now that she’s single. If yesterday’s Hooker heels weren’t’ enough for you, today she’s tarted it up in a nice little cleavage revealing dress. Well done. Obviously she’s standing in the classic “I don’t have a big ass, what are you talking about?” pose. Nice try princess, but were not buying it.

I don’t have much to say about these pictures of Jennifer Love Hewitt, I just like a chick in high heels I guess, but I thought I’d share them with you guys anyway. I don’t know where she’s going, but those type of heels are normally attached to strippers or prostitutes. I like it. She’s been getting out there lately in tight little outfits or giving us tasty snippets of cleavage so I shouldn’t be to hard on her. Notice how I used the words hard on? That’s right.

With her “Ghost Whisperer” work having come to an end, Jennifer Love Hewitt is branching out with a number of new roles.

Among those, the brunette beauty took part in a brand new made for TV movie called “The Client List” – which debuts on Lifetime on Monday, July 19th at 9/8c .

As for “The Client List,” the film was directed by Eric Laneuville while co-starring Cybill Shepherd , Sonja Bennett and Teddy Sears.

Inspired by a true story, this Lifetime Original Movie is the story of Samantha Horton (Jennifer Love Hewitt), a former Texas homecoming queen and physical therapist. When both she and her husband, Rex (Teddy Sears), are laid off from their jobs, Samantha accepts an offer to work at a massage studio in a nearby town, not realizing that the other staff members are actually prostitutes who service a clientele of wealthy and powerful businessmen. Eventually realizing what goes on behind closed doors, but desperate to provide for her family, Samantha goes along for the ride. But when the police raid the business and Samantha is arrested, she ends up as a key witness in the case — putting high-profile johns in handcuffs and bringing a small Texas town to its knees.
